Welcome Military Families! Wayne County Public Schools is here to help meet your unique needs as you PCS, experience deployment, TDYs, and the many other transitions military families face. The school district employs a District Military Liaison, who supports and advocates for military-connected students and families, while working in partnership with Seymour Johnson Air Force Base personnel, other state liaisons, and area schools. The WCPS District Military Liaison is ready to assist is any way possible:

  • Transitions, including transcript evaluation for high school students

  • Interstate Compact compliance

  • Deployment support

  • MFLC program

  • Student 2 Student "S2S" and "JS2S" program

  • Anchored 4 Life program

  • General concerns - individual consultation, parent conferences
