District wide hearing screenings will take place September 5-7. If you do not want your child's hearing screened, you must notify your child's teacher in writing by Friday, September 1.  In an effort to conserve resources, parents will only be notified if their child does not pass the screening.  All students who do not pass or who are absent on the screening day will receive a follow-up screening by the WCPS audiologist at a later date.  If parents have any questions, please contact the speech-language pathologist at your child's school.
