Welcome to the Meadow Lane Elementary Title I Information Page

One of the best things about Meadow Lane is our parent engagement. Our school has an amazing PTA, but did you also know we have a Parent Engagement Coordinator? Mrs. Anna Bridgers serves our families by planning and organizing family engagement events throughout the year. She also oversees our Parent Resource Center. We have a wide array of activities and resources available to families for checkout, free of cost. To check out resources, simply reach out to your teacher or Mrs. Bridgers. They will be happy to assist you in checking out educational resources for supporting your student.

You can reach Mrs. Bridgers at 919-751-7150 ext. 3124, Classdojo, or by email at annabridgers@wcps.org

Title I Funding

Meadow Lane is a Title I School. This means we received additional federal funding which supplements the educational program. Meadow Lane follows the "whole school model." This means that our whole school benefits from the additional funding. This often covers parent engagement resources/events, additional staffing, and educational resources. Our Title I Coordinator and Instructional Coach is Ann Hetrick. You can reach Mrs. Hetrick at 919-751-7150 ext. 3169, classdojo, or by email at antoinettehetrick@wcps.org if you have any questions.

Parent Engagement Policy

Meadow Lane Elementary adheres to the philosophy that parental engagement is essential in the total teaching and learning process of children.  An Annual Title I public meeting was held on September 12th, 2023 to discuss our school wide project, federal regulations, and requirements as it relates to our Title I program and parents’ rights to be involved.  School-Parent Compact Agreements will be sent home that outline how parents, school staff, and students will share the responsibility for improved student achievement.

Meadow Lane provides the following parental engagement activities:
