Vision screenings for all 9th graders will take place on Monday, Nov. 25th during our Flex HR. All 9th graders will have their vision screened by our school nurse. We ask that if you wear glasses or contacts, please be sure to have them on/with you on this screening day. Any questions, please reach out to the school.


Congratulations go out to our Golden Falcon's Men's Soccer team for their hard fought 2-1 victory over Triton HS last night. With this win, the Golden Falcons advance to the 3rd round of the NCHSAA State playoffs. Their next game will be Thursday night at 6:30pm at home. vs Southern School of Energy and Sustainability. Tickets will be available through Gofan.co. No passes will be accepted for admission.

A shout out to our CBA Men's Soccer Team for a first round state playoff victory Friday evening over Union Pines. Our young men won 3-1 and moved on to the 2nd round this evening vs Triton. Come out and support them on their quest to make it to the 3rd round. Full concessions will be served.

The first round of the NCHSAA State 3A Men's Soccer tournament will begin for our Golden Falcons tomorrow, Nov. 8 when they will host Union Pines HS. Game time starts at 6:30pm. Looks to be a great night for soccer, and some yummy concession stand food so come out and cheer our Golden Falcon Men's Soccer Team on to Victory!!

The Golden Falcon Marching Band wrapped up their competition season with their best performance yet. They were in a very competitive 4A division this past weekend and took home 3rd place overall!

Reminder for Winter Athletes and their parents.
Monday, Nov. 4 will be the Winter Parent/Player Athletic Meeting. The meeting will start at 6:00pm for new winter athletes and their parents and at 6:30pm for former fall athletes and their parents. I am making sure all students are aware that we will run our CBA Flex Schedule tomorrow, Monday, October 28, 2024. This schedule change is to allow ALL students to attend homeroom at 10:50am tomorrow to be able to complete a career plan survey through Major Clarity. The completion of this task is a District Requirement for all our students. Information collected will allow us to better prepare individual student career plans. Please see the start times for each period listed below:

The Charles B. Aycock High School Lady Golden Falcons Tennis Team (23-2) will play at Rocky Mount Senior High School (13-1) in the third round of the NCHSAA 3-A dual tennis team state playoffs on Monday, October 28th at 3:30 p.m.


CBA will be administrating the ASVAB test on Monday, Dec 3, 2024. The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a standardized test that helps determine a person's eligibility and suitability for military service and careers:
