Due to the threat of icy weather forecast to arrive as early as tomorrow evening, WSE will dismiss two (2) hours early (2:30 PM), tomorrow, Friday, January 10. All after school programs are canceled for Friday afternoon and all campus will remain closed this weekend.
Wayne School of Engineering will dismiss at 3:00 tomorrow; we will see you all again on January 6. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
High School exams begin Monday with 1st and 2nd period teacher-made exams. First period exams begin at 10:30 AM and 2nd period exams begin at 1:40 PM. Middle School students will operate on regular schedule for the week.
Happy Thanksgiving! Students will return to school on Monday, December 2.

WSE's middle school fall sports awards night is Thursday, November 21 at 6:30 PM.
Wayne County Public Schools will operate on a two-hour delay schedule tomorrow, September 17. And yes, it does include WSE as well; students will begin class at 12:30 PM. The two hour delay schedule can be found in the WSE Handbook Specific Material located on our website and it was also shared on Remind.
If your student rides the bus, WCPS has added a School Bus Parent Portal. Parents can download the Edulog Parent Portal App from their App store and activate the account. After the required school and student information is added to the account, you should be able to track and receive real time bus data.
Due to the threat of heavy rains, isolated flooding, and tropical storm winds being forecast for our area, Wayne School of Engineering will be CLOSED Thursday, August 8 through Friday, August 9. All schools, departments, and campuses will be closed for students and staff. All athletic practices, competitions, and school sponsored activities have been canceled. The school district is closely monitoring the weather forecasts for our area and will remain in close communications with local emergency management officials throughout this weather event. Open House for grades 7-12 will be held August 6 from 4:30-6:30.
Open House for 6th grade will be held on August 5 from 4:30-6:30 PM.
Senior Drape and Tux pictures will be taken on August 2 at Wayne School of Engineering beginning at 10:30 AM.
Seniors/Senior Parents: a reminder that cap and gown pictures are Friday, 4/19, starting at 10:30 AM. Also, plan for two graduation practices: one on May 21 at 11:00 AM and a full dress rehearsal for pictures, on May 22 at 10:00 AM. Graduation tickets will be given out after the practice on May 22.
Seniors: Have you completed the FAFSA? Send Mrs. Reese proof of your submission to be entered into a drawing for 2 free prom tickets or a $25 gift card! If you have not completed the FAFSA, do so by April 22 to be entered in the drawing. Contact Mrs. Reese if you have any questions.
