We want to give a huge shoutout to our JROTC! Yesterday they recieved an “Exceeds Standards” rating during their inspection. This is the highest possible rating they could receive. Congratulations! #saintpride

Seniors, Herff Jones will be back on campus on Thursday, November 14 to collect your graduation orders. They will be set up near the 500 Wing doors during all four lunches. They will also be returning on Wednesday, December 18, and Friday, January 24 to take orders. After these dates, the cap and gown prices will increase so get your orders in as soon as possible!
We’re offering after-school support for students who need help with make-up work, tutoring, and more. This support will be available Monday through Thursday until 4:00 PM. Students can check the lists in the hallway or on the Saints News and Events slides (these are linked on the school website) to see which teachers are staying each day. Students, please take advantage of this opportunity!

FTA is collecting gently used coats, gloves, and blankets to donate to Western North Carolina. Turn these items in to your 3rd period teacher. The class that brings in the most items will win a Pizza Party on November 26. The last day to bring in any items will be Friday, November 22.

The Winter Sports parent meeting is this Monday at 6:00. All winter sport athletes and a parent or guardian need to attend.
Our College Advisor, Mr. McNeill, is hosting a FAFSA Night on Thursday, November 21 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the cafeteria. This is a great opportunity to ask questions about the FAFSA process. Come out and join us!
Picture Day has been rescheduled for Tuesday, November 12.
Goshen Mobile will be on-site on Monday, November 4th to provide free sports physicals for athletes. This is a great opportunity for students who want to play winter or spring sports but still need a physical. Middle school students from the community are also welcome to attend. English and Spanish forms are available in the front office at Southern Wayne. The event will take place from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM in front of the New Gym.
All tenth-grade students will take the Pre-ACT tomorrow, Wednesday, October 30th. All other students will remain in their second period class until testing ends. Wednesday is also an early dismissal day for students so school will dismiss at 1:00 pm.
