CBA's Varsity Volleyball team will be traveling to Western Alamance on Tuesday, Oct. 22 for the 1st round of the State Volleyball Playoffs. We wish our entire team safe travels and good luck in the first round! Go FALCONS!!!
The Charles B. Aycock High School Lady Golden Falcons (21-2) will host Triton High School (5-7) in the opening round of the NCHSAA 3-A dual team state playoffs on Monday, October 21st at 3:30 p.m. at the Luke Vail Tennis Courts.

Charles B. Aycock High School freshman Kannyn Fail and junior Madison Smith won three matches this weekend at the annual Eastern 3-A Regional Women's Tennis Tournament at North Carolina Wesleyan University in Rocky Mount to improve to 10-4 on the season. Fail and Smith were seeded fourth in doubles. They will represent the Lady Golden Falcons at the annual NCHSAA State Championships next Friday and Saturday at the Burlington Tennis Center.

Our CBA Women’s Golf team competed in the Quad County Conference Championship this week. Marinah Bryan was named all-conference and has qualified for the 3A Regional tournament next week! Way to go Falcons!! 💛🩵

Epsilon Phi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, alongside WCPS, and the Dillard/Goldsboro Alumni and Friends and I.Rise.Above LLC will be sponsoring a workshop on Saturday, October 26 from 1-4pm at the Neal Stitt building. Please see the flyer for all the details. This event is in conjunction with the National College Application Week which takes place October 21-26.

He will be taking orders and money for class rings, cap and gowns. Remember, prices go up after February, so don't wait. This would be a great time to order and check this off of your to-do-list!
Steps for Seniors to order Cap and Gown and other items from Herff Jones:
1. Go to the website https://www.herffjones.com
2.At the top left corner click on "Graduation" and then "Shop your school"
3. The next screen will ask for your high school . You will need to type in "C.B. Aycock" and click on our school.
4. Click on "Shop graduation product"
5. Click on "Grad gear and apparel"
6. Scroll passed "Apparel", scroll passed "Senior Jewelry" and scroll passed "Accessories "
7.AND FINALLY you will see the option for a cap and gown under "Graduation Essentials"
There will be a swim team interest meeting on Wednesday, October 9th in Coach Joyner's room 701 during homeroom. You do not have to have competitive swimming experience to join the team. Stop by Room 701 if you have any questions.
The next drivers education class will be held at Goldsboro High School in the school cafeteria from 8 am to 2 pm. Classes are October 19, 26, November 2, 9, and 16.
The classes are by sign up only on the Wayne County Public Schools website.
A student must be 14 1/2 on the first day of class.
When the class is closed an email will be sent out to the student to inform them they successfully got in the class.
