Eligibility: Open to NC high school students and recent graduates (c/o 2025), 16+ years old by May 21, 2025.
Explore the worlds of industrial systems or agriculture.
Earn $15/hour
8-week, paid program (25–28 hours/week, Mon-Thurs)
Earn up to 15 college credits, transferrable to a Registered Apprenticeship or Associate Degree Program
Hands-on learning experiences
Field trips to local businesses
Stipends for travel and supplies
In-classroom learning led by industry professionals
Parents Information Session
Student(s) and their parent(s) must attend an information session before they are accepted into the academy. The parent session is TONIGHT February 10. Applications are due by February 14.

Jay Kornegay, the Herff Jones representative, will be here Friday, February 7th during all lunches for the cap and gown orders. You are no longer able to purchase online so in order to get the lower price before it increases, you must make plans to be here tomorrow. The price of the cap and gown WILL increase after tomorrow.

Due to the threat of icy weather forecasted to arrive in our area as early as tomorrow evening, WCPS will dismiss 2 hours early on Friday, January 10. CBA will dismiss at 1:00pm.
In addition, all after school activities for Friday, January 10, including athletics have been canceled. All WCPS campuses will remain closed this week-end.
