This holiday season, Spring Creek Middle School is coming together to support children in need through two special initiatives: the Holiday Share-A-Bear Drive and the Toys for Tots Toy Drive. These efforts combined are the Holiday Hearts Toy Drive.
The Share-A-Bear Drive, organized by the Spring Creek Middle Grades FFA and Student Ambassadors, seeks new, medium- to small-sized teddy bears and stuffed animals to provide comfort to children in Wayne County. These donations will be distributed to first responders, law enforcement, and healthcare centers to help children facing scary or stressful situations. The drive will run from December 1st to December 18th, 2024.
The Toys for Tots Toy Drive, sponsored by the National Junior Honor Society, is collecting new, unwrapped toys to be donated to the Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program. These toys will bring holiday cheer to children in need across the community. The Toys for Tots drive will run from November 19th to December 10th, 2024.
How You Can Help:
Donate new teddy bears and stuffed animals for the Share-A-Bear Drive (Dec 1–18).
Donate new, unwrapped toys for the Toys for Tots Drive (Nov 19–Dec 10).
Drop off donations at Spring Creek Middle School during the designated dates.
“These two drives offer a wonderful opportunity for our school and community to make a meaningful difference during the holiday season,” said Isaac Davenport, FFA Advisor. “Whether it’s a stuffed animal or a toy, every donation helps brighten the day of a child in need.”
