Edgewood's very own Instructional Assistant, Angela Lamb was a presenter at the 53rd Annual North Carolina Reading Conference. Angela is a junior at East Carolina University studying Elementary Education with a concentration in reading. She was selected for one of the College of Education's first Reading Education Ambassadors Fellowship back in November 2023.
The 53rd Annual NCRA was held March 17th - 19th in Winston Salem, NC at the Benton Convention Center. She had the opportunity to experience so much knowledge and insight from other teachers, children's book authors, and professors. This was a huge opportunity and not only did she represent for East Carolina University, she represented her Edgewood Community Developmental School family very well.
