ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Congratulations to our own Ms. Kristen Thomas for being recognized by the Morehead-Cain Foundation as a 2025 Morehead-Cain Impact Educators award recipient. The honorees of this award are recognized by Morehead-Cain Scholars and high school students who are semifinalists for the Scholarship. Scholars and students express their gratitude to an educator whose care, attention, and challenge meaningfully shaped their lives and leadership learning. We are so proud to have Ms. Thomas as a member of our Falcon staff here at CBA!! Way to go!!!
The Herff Jones representative will be at CBA on Thursday, January 23, 2025 during all lunches. They will be taking senior orders for Cap and Gowns and other senior supplies.
AYC will be sponsoring a Valentine’s Day Dance on Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 8:00-10:00pm. Tickets will be for sale for $10.00

THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT DRIVER EDUCATION CLASS
Students must be 14 years and 6 months old (14 1/2) on the first day of class. (No exceptions)
Students must attend every class. NO ABSENCES allowed, excused or unexcused. If you miss one class for any reason, you are automatically out.
Arrange transportation ahead of time. No phone calls during class.
Students should be dropped off and picked up each day at the cafeteria.
Day 1: Students must remain in the vehicle with his/her parent until speaking with one of the instructors. Parents should remain in the car line--please do not park the vehicle to speak to an instructor.
Cell phones must be turned off (not on vibrate or silence) during the entire class.
Bring lunch, paper, pencil, and pen to class.
Any student who is unable to follow school rules and board policies will be immediately dismissed from the class.
Students that are disruptive, sleep in class, or are in off-limit areas will be immediately dismissed from the class. No gum, radios, pagers, or tobacco products permitted in class. Any student who violates any part of this rule will be immediately dismissed from the class.
Any student dismissed from class that does not have a cell phone should notify one of the instructors. Parents will then be called to pick up the student.
Agreeing to these rules is required for participation in classroom driver’s education.
