The idea of STEAM Pioneers began at Carver in early 2017. Our STEAM Pioneers represent men and women who were the “first” in their respective fields of study to accomplish their achievements.
The participating students chose a famous person in one of the areas of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art/Agriculture, and Mathematics). The students researched the person they selected, wrote a 1 to 2-minute script about their life, designed a backdrop reflecting the person’s life, and dressed in costume to represent their STEAM Pioneer.
The students stand as if they are characters in a WAX MUSEUM. As soon as the button is pressed, the Pioneer “comes to life.”
We would like to invite you to come and see our Carver STEAM Pioneers at our Annual Carver STEAM Gallery Walk on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 8 am to 10 am (Floating) in the Multipurpose Room.
