Wayne County Public Schools

On Thursday,  April 17th at 10 AM, a special groundbreaking event will be held for the new Rosewood Middle School. 

Members of the Wayne County Board of Education, the Wayne County Board of Commissioners, WCPS/County of Wayne leadership, and other invited dignitaries will ceremonially break ground on the new school. Construction is scheduled to be completed in the Fall of 2026.

The Rosewood Middle site is located at 541 NC 581 South. The event will be open to the public.
