Spring Creek Middle School opened its doors for the first time in August of 2015. Spring Creek Middle serves approximately 600 students in grades 5-8. The building is constructed to be a "Net-Positive" school. Through the use of approximately 2,400 solar panels and a geothermal energy system, the school is projected to produce as much as 40% more energy annually than is actually used by the school. Super insulated wall and roof assemblies, along with high performance window glazing and the use of LED lighting further add the the school's overall energy efficiency.
