Rosewood Middle School Parent & Family Engagement Policy
Rosewood Middle School adheres to the philosophy that parental engagement is essential in the overall learning process and success of children. An Annual Title 1 Parent Meeting will be held to discuss our school, federal requirements, and other information as it relates to our Title 1 program and parent’s rights to know and be involved. Along with this letter, a School-Parent Compact is going home which outlines our responsibility as parents and staff members for improved student achievement.

Qualifications of your child’s teacher:
Whether the NC Department of Education has licensed or qualified the teacher for the grades and subjects being licensed or qualified under state regulations because of special circumstances.
The teacher’s college major; whether the teacher has any advanced degrees and, if so, the subject of the degrees
Whether any instructional assistants or similar paraprofessionals provide services to your child and, if they do, their qualifications.
Professional development opportunities for teachers and instructional assistants to ensure highly effective personnel.
