On August 1, 2008, Wayne County Public Schools became 100% Tobacco Free. This means, that the use of all tobacco products, lighted or smokeless, are banned anywhere on school property, at any time.

Freedom From Smoking classes from the American Lung Society are held periodically at Wayne Community College. The Freedom From Smoking Classes are sponsored by the Wayne County Health Department. For more information on how to register, call 731-1290. Space is limited, so register early.
