On May 26, 2013, Wayne County Public Schools began airing its first ever locally produced weekly educational cable television program, called “School Days.”

The “School Days” program is a 30 minute “talk show” style program, which has three segments that address pertinent topics to parents, students, and educators. The show is aired on the Wayne County Education Alliance Channel, or the WCEA Channel, which is located on Time Warner Cable’s Channel 18 and operated by the school district.

“Wayne County Public Schools is excited to launch this weekly educational cable program,” states Dr. Steven Taylor. “Each week, ‘School Days’ will provide important education information and resources for our school communities. We would even encourage those who do not have children in our schools to tune in and learn more about what’s happening across the district.”

Each “School Days” episode will air for the first time on Sunday evenings at 7:30 p.m. They will then be replayed every Tuesday and Thursday at the same time. Shows will also be replayed in the morning at 6:30 a.m. every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
